Steps

1. Research: Wikipedia, Textbooks, Scientific papers, General Google searches

2. Further refine specification of problem

3. Come up with strategies to model the system. Do several models from simple/trivial -> advanced/complete

4. Define how to test models. Locate or generate various test data sets..

5. Implement model strategies on the computer.

6. Evaluate the results of your strategies

7. figure out how to present and graph your data.

8. Write the paper. (Keep writing concurrently with working on above)
